Discipleship, Not Just A College Thing

This weekend I was blessed with an opportunity to meet with some 20s  who were in the Navigators ministry with me while I served on staff at the University of North Texas.  Now they are continuing their journey as life-long laborers for Jesus living out the Nav20s Four Pursuits:

  • Pursuing Christ with all your heart.
  • Honoring Him in your workplace, job or profession.
  • Living and discipling among those who need Christ, especially your peers.
  • Teaming up with others of like heart and purpose… “side by side.”

The Navigators calling is not just a “college thing”.  The Navigators vision is God’s vision of making life-long laborers:

To advance the Gospel of Jesus and His Kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost.

A life-long laborer…

  • Not only strives to know Christ more and make Him known.
  • Not only is intentional to be discipled and invest in someone, making a disciple.

But a life-long laborer dedicates a life-long commitment of making disciples in every stage of life “right where they are.”

Are you a life-long laborer?  Are you experiencing the joy and blessing of investing into someone who will disciple someone else?  Who is God putting on your heart to disciple you or to disciple?
