The Navigators at the University of North Texas

Mentoring university students is my greatest spiritual gift and passion under following Jesus.  I find great joy in using that gift to help young adults discover and follow Jesus!

God has clearly called me to be in full-time collegiate ministry with The Navigators – an international mission organization – at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.

God has been preparing me to be a college minister for years.  My heart for college ministry, and most of all for Jesus, began when I was a student at the University of Oklahoma.  God used the campus ministry at OU to change my life in becoming the president and eventually an intern of the campus ministry.

After receiving a Bachelors in Business Administration, God led me to ACU to obtain a Masters of Science in Biblical and Related Studies solely because I was being led to be a campus minister at a state university.  God continued to prepare me for campus ministry at ACU, and then I served as the campus intern/evangelist at Louisiana State University.

Seeing the spiritual gifts in young adults, mentoring and spurring them on to use these gifts blesses me.  Seeking out the lost and sharing Jesus and mentoring others to do the same is another gift that I am passionate about using.

I enjoy being a disciple in evangelism and developing ways to reach out to the lost of the postmodern generation effectively.  God has made me a visionary, and I am excited about using this gift to build a small existing campus ministry into one that will impact the world from generation to generation.

My Mission

My main mission in life is: to know Jesus and to make Him known and to mentor university students to do the same.  The Navigators Collegiate Ministry is compelled by this same mission!

I deeply desire to nourish university students’ relationship with Jesus Christ.  It is an awesome opportunity to share the transformation message of Jesus to college students at a time in life when they are going through the most change in their entire lifetime.  I believe this is done through Bible study, prayer, fellowship, with Christians, worship and many other avenues God have given us to know Him.

I love to watch their faith strengthen as they are going through the phase in life when they are truly searching and making life-long decisions.  What an opportune time to mentor these souls to be servants of Jesus Christ as they will impact leaders in the community, business, and education in this nation and abroad!

In Christ, Todd
